What are the Millennium Development Goals?
What do United Nations goals have to do with the Blue House? Learn how the Blue House benefits because it meets several of the goals. Find out how you or your favorite non-profit or faith community can support the Millennium Goals by donating to Hope Multipurpose. |
Hope Multipurpose, Inc. sponsors a tiny orphanage in Kazo Parish, Uganda. We call it The Blue House because the salvaged corrugated metal roof material is blue. The building was never meant to be an orphanage, or even a residence. It was a small shop originally, just one main room. For now, The Blue House has room for 12 orphans, currently all girls.

Meet the girls of the Blue House; read about what they like to do, and their dreams.
HMI plans to build a complex for more children, one building at a time, on the plot of land we own nearby. We hope to house 200 orphans someday. Our focus is to provide "our girls" food, clothing, shelter, guidance, and the supplies to attend primary school.
