Biking for the Blue House

Online fundraising for Biking for the Blue House
Mark Hansen is biking from New Orleans up the Mississippi to St. Paul -- 1,900 miles -- fundraising for the girls of the Blue House. Please DONATE and help him make his goal of $2012. Read about his trip.

Are the Blue House girls safe? YES!
If you've heard about Kony 2012 and the war in Uganda, read this.

Help us bring more girls to the Blue House
The Blue House girls, after a day of working in the garden

The new Blue House now has 26 girls. Our challenge:

  • $  1,200 is all it takes to care for each girl for a year.
  • $30,000 is what we still need  in 2012 so we can take in the rest of the girls who have been chosen.
Our goal is to be at capacity with 44 girls in 2012.
Read our
new HMI brochure for more information.

Our Mission:
Creating a Childhood for Orphans in Rural Uganda

Hope Multipurpose sponsors a small orphanage in Kazo Parish, Uganda. A new dorm for 44 children, the Blue House, was built through the generosity of HMI donors. The orphans and vulnerable children, currently all girls, have safe housing, nutritious food, clothing, health care, mentoring, and support for education.
